How we make money

CoinCompass is free to read. We earn revenue through affiliate (referral) commissions: when you open an account with an exchange using a link or code on our site, that exchange may pay us a commission and/or a share of trading fees. This never costs you anything extra — in fact, you receive the referral discount that comes with our codes.

Our independence

Commercial relationships do not buy favorable coverage. Our ratings follow the criteria on our How We Review page. We publish genuine pros and cons for every exchange, and we will warn readers about an exchange even when we have an affiliate relationship with it.

Accuracy & updates

Fees, bonuses, and features change frequently. We fact-check against each exchange’s official documentation and update our content when terms change. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
